Creative In

this is how
things will go.

Start by filling out the form with a short intro about who you are and what you do creatively.

There will be two filming days (don’t worry—it won’t take the full day, just a couple of hours each time).Day 1 will focus on you—your creative process, background, and why you chose your canvas.Day 2 will happen about three weeks later, once you’ve had time to live and create in your chosen item. We’ll get your honest feedback (what worked, what didn’t), and you’ll complete your personal “Something to be ____ in” tag, based on your experience and creative identity.

Eight participants will be selected—two for each NED canvas (the jumpsuit, smock, overalls, or set). One person will be chosen from the art school and one from the vocational school for each item, to give a well-rounded, authentic perspective on how each canvas is used.

Once we’ve wrapped filming, your episode of Creative In will be used to authentically promote your chosen NED canvas—whether that’s the jumpsuit, smock, overalls, or set. Your personalized “Something to be” tag will be attached to that item when it’s sold at pop-ups and in our online shop, directing people to your work and creative practice (for the first 25 sold).

Once selected, we’ll meet to decide which canvas best suits you and your practice, and figure out the best time and place to film. If you have a studio or creative workspace, we’ll aim to film there.

NED wasn’t always called NED— when I was in London, it was called TNC. That project was a different series, but it will give you a good feel for the kind of production style Creative In will have. I had the chance to collaborate with six incredible artists, and I think their creativity really comes through in each video.Click the link below to check them out!
